The Road Turns . . .

The morning vanished.... although I did manage to do the ironing for several loads of washing.....
Terri had to go to her dentist this afternoon so I asked if she'd like company - her dentist being about 50 miles away in the country....She stayed with them in spite of the distance  as she is still an NHS patient there. 
We had an uneventful drive - lovely to be out in the country - until there was a loud ping/ ring - the rental car had gone down to the reserve petrol!  She'd not noticed that there was so little....hey ho..  
However the fancy all singing vehicle did tell her she had 50 miles in the reserve tank so although there was no fuel in the little village we ended up in for her appt, we knew we'd get some going back to B'ple before the fuel ran out!   This bend is en route to the fuel station!
Safely home to a pleasant cuppa.   She will be glad to get her own little car back tomorrow.
