Our Local Bus …

… Here is the number 57 bus turning into our street. It is our closest bus, the stop is just a few minutes from our building door.

It is very convenient as it runs north to the
Place d’Italie where we can transfer to many other buses to get most places we need to go. In Paris, one bus fare includes a free transfer to another bus to continue one’s journey. It cannot be used for a return trip as a friend mistakenly thought. Fortunately, she didn’t get caught. Fines are high.
