A Cut Too Far
The first (morning) walk in the park with our dog Bramble is a poo walk. That done, we wandered on and I spotted some bark on the ground from the tree in the second extra. I liked the shades and shapes and the way some of it was lifting.
This lead onto the tree that have been cut down two years ago in the first extra. Behind it is a listed building that suffered a serious fire a few years earlier. It is due to become a medical centre in the near future, with several doctors surgeries moving from their terraced house premises.
The main photo is a close up of the tree, which had been damaged by the wind with the top coming down. It will have been classed as dangerous so was chopped down. It appears to have been cut only part way through, but all the way along the trunk. When I first saw it I thought that someone would come back and finish the job, but clearly not. .
