Faded

It might be cheesy to say it, but real beauty defies age.  So it is with these roses.  They have been in the vase for a week or so, changing day by day.  They are still magnificent. Moving from the poetic to the mundane, today was one of those days when complications arise everywhere at once.   My capacity to deal with multiple things going up in smoke collectively, contemporaneously, and simultaneously is probably not age-defying!
