Self Portrait
I met up with my two lovely friends for our monthly art class - facilitated by one of them. Brave woman!!!
She recognized that our focus was a bit off after a lovely breakfast of bacon and fried egg rolls, with the added extra of tattie scones.
So - we had to hold a pencil in our dominant hand - and without lifting the pencil - close our eyes and draw our faces. We were guided by using our non-dominant hand that felt our faces, starting at our foreheads.
No laughing allowed!!!
We then turned the paper 180° and drew our faces again - eyes shut. At this point I started to unsuccessfully draw a jug for some reason. We then paused - then the paper was turned 90° and a pastel crayon used to repeat the self portrait exercise.
This was a fun exercise - and we were in a good place to start the class.
Slight issue - I had only slept for an hour or two the night before. The other two then did some more drawing. I curled up on the sofa and fell asleep.
