Hostile Urban Architecture

We do have quite a sizable community of unhoused people in downtown Fort Worth who I have been noticing on my excursions. I am beginning to be aware of the subtle measures taken by city planners to discourage them from getting too comfortable. This bench is an example. It could be a lot worse! Here are some examples.

I had my follow-up MRI from my brain bleed last October yesterday, so on Friday I will get the verdict. I feel pretty normal so I expect they will find it has healed up.
