The ultimate Scottish picnic...

Follow a single track road through beautiful mountains for quite some way, park at the side of the road, wait for the Dads (who went hill fishing earlier) to walk down the hill and pick up the babies, load everyone up like pack horses, start walking away from the road and into the hills, find a loch, with a beach, in the sunshine, unload the babies, unpack the picnic, open the wine, enjoy!

1 hour later...

Watch the sun disappear, watch the clouds start gathering and turning grey, reach for a jumper, wrap the little ones up, feel the first spot of rain, pack up the picnic, run back to the car!

Stop in the local pub to warm up and play dominos,

A truly Scottish picnic, the best!
