Roll With It

Moving & Learning

Mrs S and I have ‘Cinema Magic’ tickets which allow us to go two for the price of one on Mondays. This week however we opted to go for a Thursday as it was the only day we could watch ‘One Life’.
Am I glad we did.

The arts, including cinema have the power to ‘move’ and this is a remarkable film. It tells the story of Nicholas Winton, later Sir Nicholas Winton, who rescued 669 children from Czechoslovakia as WWII was starting. The film moved me to tears and I wasn’t the only one, people could be heard openly crying throughout the screening.

Despite my promise to myself, this is another book I need to read but we could be running out of room!
