Fire

Fire on the Port Hills, almost seven years to the day since the last disastrous fire on the hills.  In the photo, a helicopter with a red monsoon bucket  can be seen in the billows of smoke.

In extras, fire-fighting helicopter, and another helicopter with monsoon bucket accessing water from the ponds at Halswell Quarry -  constant, one after the other.
