Fire

Today I have been watching Hadley play cricket  at Hagley Park. He has been Involved in a series of 5 limited over games. The team had 4 wins and 1 loss and Hadley took 9 wickets from 26 overs across the games. 
This afternoon we noticed smoke rising above the tree line some 10km away fron the park. There is an enormous fire still burning on the hills about 3km south west of our house. This evening we walked to the lookout to watch  the helicopters with water buckets trying to put out the fire. I feel very sorry for the people who have  had to vacate their properties. It must be very scary for them.
