Wide Wednesday

Out with B and G this morning for our regular Wednesday morning walk. As is fairly usual,  we ended up skirting the local lake, Manvers, which was looking calm and still. Always beautiful though, in all seasons. Today, extremely muddy underfoot, and no hope of walking around it.
Coffees later, before ambling home and doing some overdue admin, before it was back to my book.
