My Search for Acker Bilk

A beautiful day in Hoy; best of the year so far. Walked along the shore to the pier and then below Linksness to the Manse.  Really big tide last night which had dumped loads of tangles on the beach.  Quite a few purple sandpipers flitting about.  There were unidentified folk about the Manse with a local building contractor.  It may have sold at last.  It will need to be someone with deep pockets. We walked to the top of Mill Brae and blethered with Euan.  On passing the Hoy Kirk we looked at all the external repairs that are required - a myriad.  Then before heading  down the track another update with CMC's brother whilst his wife delivered the mails.  Today's Blip is by my Valentine.
