My photo backup disks have surfaced after 18 months of me not knowing which 'safe place' they were in!

So I have moved 55Gb of photos from my laptop and all of a sudden it has stopped being comatose and is lithe and responsive. Next I need to go through and delete 95% of what's now on the backup disk to make room for the next few months I won't want clogging up my laptop.

And I do delete as I go - I just take far, far too many pictures.
