The Printmaker’s Art

On the third attempt I went through to Edinburgh today to see the exhibition ‘The Printmaker’s Art, Rembrandt to Rego’ at the Royal Scottish Academy. The first two occasions I was unable go because the trains were off due to storms. This time I got to Glasgow Queen Street to find the 09.45 train had just been cancelled due to signalling problems but the next train was fine. The exhibition was not as large as I had expected but includes a wide range of prints from artists from the fifteenth century to the present, all very impressive in their different ways. The exhibition closes soon on 25th February so glad I got there in the end.
