More exploration
The day started early as Jan and I drove to Sundsvall Hospital where Jan was getting a 5-day heart monitor fixed to her. There was a slight worry about getting to the road after a night of falling snow, but we managed that first 200 metres and all the roads after that were well cleared.
Once at the hospital it all went very quickly and we were soon on our way home. Back home we had breakfast and then it was out onto (into?) the snow with the visitors.
After that I was out the whole day until it started to get dark! There was some play, then some serious snow clearing around the cars and down to the cellar, and then the kids were out again and we did some fun digging, including a tunnel for Arthur to wriggle through.
In the picture Chris and Arthur are finding out how deep the snow is.
The children have met us before but only briefly and a fair while ago so they don't know us in the same way their parents do. After a couple of days in the snow, some indoor chat and play, and then eating together this evening we could see that both children are getting much more used to Jan and I.
So now everyone is tired and happy and I suspect they'll be a lot of sound sleeping tonight.
