Nancy Lake

It's a Valley work week and I am staying at Nancy Lake again.

Although it was quite windy today in the valley, it is calm now here at the lake. The ice is almost completely out. No boats in the water yet, however.

Red-necked Grebes are common at Nancy Lake and are the first birds in. They are quite noisy, but very welcome. I'll try to get some photos if they come close enough to the shore.
