Unfolding
Back east when it rained in the summer, we didn't fret about the garden. We said, "Good. It's good for the plants." Here, we worry. It drizzled again all day and the concern is that things will get moldy because the rain is not followed by hot sun. Although I love my garden, I am once again relieved that I don't do this for a living.
We saw extraordinary piano player Benny Green tonight. His hands move faster than I can think, all blur and wonder.
