Hot Milkshakes ?!

Dad, Orla and Conor got the train into Glasgow this afternoon and walked to the Necropolis. Quite a lot of the walk was spent discussing the advertising campaign that Costa has embarked on for its new product: Hot Milkshakes. Conor was particularly disparaging of the idea itself whilst Dad thought the slogan could have been much better. It turned into a bit of a lesson about marketing in general, so ended up being quite educational. Conor also wanted to play some improv games with Orla so they decided to write an improvised letter of complaint to Costa. Here's a video.

Today was also Orla's first day in the revision stage of her homeschooling IGCSEs, having submitted her last assignment for Psychology yesterday. Previously she was focusing on just one subject for two or three days before submitting an assignment. Now she is doing a 40 minute revision session for each of her seven subjects every day. She said it feels quite intense. Her first exam is on May 2nd.
