The first daff on its way.

I snuck up to the allotment in the late afternoon and have been clearing up inside and outside the polytunnel  in the hope that I can get the new cover on this weekend.  The old cover is very firmly dug in at the base and will need some fork work to  get it out.   So I gave up on that and did a bit of cutting back in the cutting border, so I can see the first daffs coming up. It will soon be picking time again.

PS Temperature in the hotbed has dropped to 32C now, but hoping the cover will give the seedlings enough protection if they make it up.
