Hello Duckie

We made a snap decision this morning to go to Christchurch - 4 hours driving for ta lunch date. Crazy eh?

Over the last ten years Doug & I have been very fortunate to travel with a group of friends, the nucleus coming from Christchurch. We have travelled to Alaska & Canada, South Africa & Botswana, Turkey/Jordan/Syria/Egypt and the last trip was to Croatia/Italian Lakes/shanghai. Every year the ladies have a "lets do lunch", always on a Wednesday and I've always been working. Aha, not this year though. We had a great catchup over a very long lunch, loved it and laughs aplenty.

So just home, and stopped off at Ashburton Gardens duck pond, they were enjoying the last of the winter sunshine. I took this in a hell of a hurry.

I'm gobbling a sandwich and slurping a cup of tea, out in 15 minutes to the convention meeting.
