Fast forward 40 years and we have the American government illegally spying on millions of people.
Reporters Woodward and Bernstein who uncovered the details of the Watergate scandal were hailed as hero's. In today's events we have Edward Snowden portrayed as the traitor instead of the real perpetrators of this spying scandal - the American Government.
Funny how our perceptions change.
