Schools are open...yay...

Because of the cholera epidemic schools have been closed since the beginning of January and finally yesterday they opened!  I spent yesterday in Livingstone Early Childhood Centre helping the teachers to clean the materials.  I was not happy with them as they should have been in last week to clean and get prepared!  However, in Zambia all the children do not come on the first day so by the end of the week we will know how many children will be in the class!  I was exhausted in the evening and met my friends only briefly.  They were tired too as they are here on a working trip.  We had dinner together as I am leaving early in the morning to head back to Lusaka!
