Toll House
An unexpected lovely sunny day, my neighbour popped in midday for a chat and cuppa. I got straight after to make the most of the sunshine and took the aerial photo' of the old Toll House on the bridge crossing the River Wye, Hoarwirhy, nr Ross on Wye (Herefordshire, UK) The present bridge was built in 1876AD. The tolls here were abolished in 1935. I think the house dates to early 19th century.
The Toll house is now a residential home and everytime I've gone over the bridge when the river has flooded it's been safe. Long may that remain.
On the way home, the rain started so I timed getting out nicely!
