A Bit of History

A lot of Northampton's history has disappeared over the past 50 years or so, thanks to over zealous councils bulldozing buildings out of their way for 'modern' projects. It's good when you find some remnants from hundreds of years ago, including this Northamptonshire stone wall, most likely 16th century but could be earlier. It's tucked away right in the town centre, hidden away near the bus station and an exceedingly ugly hotel, in a spot you can't drive to so most car-bound councillors will remain blissfully unaware, hopefully.

Note the gloomy sky, although the day was much warmer today.
