Guild Street

The morning started with a visit to the hygienist, followed by a check up at the dentist. When I came out of the surgery it was raining fairly heavily. I considered retiring to shelter, but a trip to a supermarket seemed a more sensible idea.

A bus took me to Guild Street, this is now a buses only street. On my way into Union Square shopping centre I paused for a view of Guild Street and the Station Hotel.

Very little of the original station building is now visible externally. Most of the original exterior is now inside Union Square, however the square building on the left is part of the station structure.
