Lake Viverone, Italy

Thé hotel for the start of our four day Italian trip is right next to the beautiful Lake Viverone. It looks like it gets busy here in the summer but we’re the only visitors at the moment. We arrived just in time for sunset.

We stopped at the impressive Forte di Bard (Aosta Valley) on the way to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. What an incredible collection of photos again this year. The only downside was that the explanations were in Italian, however, the film was in English.

The fort Itself was very interesting especially as one of the Avengers movies (Age of Ultron) was filmed here. See extras.
