What a beauty

A difficult day today as I learnt of the deaths of two ladies, both people that I’d known for years. One was a long-time member of our little church, and it fell to me to tell other members and friends the sad news.
After spending what felt like hours on the phone, Mr. Beewatcher took me for a walk in one of the local parks, where I was comforted by seeing this lovely bumblebee queen browsing in the heather.
