Festive Pudding No4!

Valentine Belgian Chocolate Cubes with Raspberry Compote - was too busy eating leftover Shrove Tuesday pancakes yesterday!

Busy morning, first a visit from the chiropodist, then a visit from the window company. Having received photos of the snags that I’d sent in, a manager was dispatched to investigate. He totally agreed that the windows had been fitted incorrectly, thereby damaging the outside fascia tiles, causing a water leak. He has arranged for the problem to be sorted but this entails taking the wall of windows completely back out again before refitting them properly. Worst of all, they’re coming at 8am on Monday, and I have to take curtains and blinds down again, move all the furniture again, and then afterwards clear up all the mess again!

The friend I was meant to meet up with this afternoon cried off, but it didn’t really matter as our homesitter was unable to come as she was unwell. To be honest, after a busy morning, it was a relief to have a quiet afternoon. Sunny start to the day then the heavy rain moved back in late afternoon. Ridiculously mild again at 15 degrees. As well as bees, I saw a butterfly in the garden today!
