A quiet space

A busy day with the recording of Breaking the News this afternoon and a volunteer update at Maggie's this evening. I did have a free morning as the Scottish Seniors Curling Championship started in Hamilton this morning so there was no coaching.

BtN panelists were Chris Forbes, Jay Lafferty, Ray Bradshaw and Ria Lina who were very good.

The Maggie's event was slightly different this year. As well as volunteers, some fundraisers and corporate partners were there. It's always great to hear just how much has been raised and what it will do to help people affected by cancer. The photo is one of the small rooms which is used for private chats or just somewhere to relax. Even when the centre is really busy there's always somewhere you can find a quiet space.
