Busy

After yesterday's mud-run we decided on a zero-mud, sandy-forest walk today, & it turned out to be even better than expected, sunny & mild. We started from Brandon Country Park & then did a 9Km loop in the forest to the south; commercial conifer & beech plantation, but with gorse, broom & wild plum blossom as added interest. The Blip was taken in the walled garden at the Country Park - the shrubs & herbs weren't convinced it was Spring yet, but patches of crocuses & snowdrops were a providing a source of pollen for the local honeybees.
