Tempus nascendi et tempus moriendi

We have walked many times passed this tree. It was solitary, quite big one in the Gersprenz floodplains.
I hadn't noticed any issue, last summer it was full of leaves as always.
But obviously the tree was not healthy anymore.
A bit of wind last week must have been too heavy.
One of the trunks was hole. So it was just a matter of when would it happen.
A pity, but that's life. At least it's not human made, just nature.
