Kaikoura Coast

We headed down to Kaikoura today to the Baby Seal colony at Ohau Point. After getting up close and personal to the Baby Seals - and watching them play in the pool for ages, we carried down to Kaikoura to see the fantastic views and watch the older seals sunbathe, just like we do on the beach.

The Mistress pointed me at one particular seal who sat up and hissed and barked at me. I was so scared that the image that I took was blurred. Sigh - The Mistress is not happy with me for that!

Thai food for lunch for the Mistress and the Niece, and I stayed in my padded bag cell for the rest of the time.

The Mistress remarked how I still smelt of Mandarin today.
