My loaner fiddle

This is the fiddle I'm using until I get back to Maine in the summer and get the rest of my things. It's been broken and fixed but does just fine.  I think it enjoys getting played.

The Irish session got cancelled tonight because our leader's mom passed away. She thought she would like to play tonight but decided she wasn't ready to be around people. Her mom had been struggling for years with Parkinson's. 
I have been practicing a series of jigs so I will continue and hopefully be able to play along next week.
