BRANCHING OUT

A cormorant up a tree in the park. I'm not sure why.

Another busy day. It was good to see Jackie who helps keep the place clean. She's been recuperating from surgery for the last six weeks so she was surprised by some of the changes since her last visit. As she was leaving, Mariusz the handyman arrived to finish off a job he did on Wednesday and quote for some more decorating and as he walked out of the door the carpet people phoned to book us in for fitting next week. So it's going to be another full-on few days as B and I have to empty the rooms and shift the furniture about on our own which neither of us is particularly adept at, especially B. This time next week it will all be done (fingers crossed). And I have something good to look forward to tomorrow to get away from it for an hour or two.
