Bamburgh beach

We had a trip to Holy Island and Bamburgh castle today. I loved Lindisfarne it was such a peaceful place (apart from the coach loads of tourists that is, of which I was one). I have promised myself to return there for a weekend at least to experience what it must be like when all the tourists have returned across the causeway. The coastline at Bamburgh is truly magnificent. I wanted to walk further for longer but thought better of it due to the approaching thunderstorm.
