Jacks, queens, king

Grandad & Grandma taught us a new card game.
This was after a morning of play dates.
Anya had Ame over to play, Max had Eddie. Naomi also brought baby Peter. It was a bit ‘Motherland’ as both parents decided to stay, which I hadn’t anticipated. Very different characters; one keen to go to the park with the boys despite the wet weather, the other came with a home-baked carrot cake ready to settle down with a cuppa and catch up whilst the children entertained themselves. Neither have ever met & it was all a bit awkward.
Ah well, Andrew said I should have been clear from the start that it was a ‘drop & run’ Haha!
