The Cauld

Popped up to the Cauld just north of the town hoping I may catch a Heron , I have dug out my old Vivitar 100-400mm zoom lens, I will never know why I bought it way back in the early '90s for my EOS100. I don't think I even understood how to use it and I never got anything worth showing with it.
It's hardly state of the art but it will bring some of the wildlife I have sadly been missing a little closer.
