A walk and a reward!

This morning I walked to a country lane, where a few days ago I took a landscape of a river flowing into a lake in the distance.  I went back to this spot, see the extra photo for the location, here I was rewarded by seeing a Kingfisher bird, the flash of electric blue is quite dazzling.  It flew under the bridge I was standing on and straight up the river just inches above the water.  Just a few yards down is the subject of the main photo for today, the distance is slightly blurred on purpose.
