A Sad Story

Our daughter and granddaughter visited this morning and Victoria gave me a rose wrapped in cellophane with red hearts on the paper. It is a sad story, as Victoria was walking across the railway station steps, towards my home, a girl, in tears gave the rose at her. I thought Victoria should keep it, but she wanted me to have it. At least the girl gave it to someone, rather than putting it in the bin.
 
The temperature at noon today was eleven degrees Celsius.
