The first flower stem on the amaryllis has definitely had it, but to be fair, the first flowers opened a month ago so it's done well.

In other news, the last of the food from our chest freezer is having a weekend's holiday at the butchers while we do the annual defrost. I dropped the coolbag off and then stopped at the Community Fridge shed on the way home, where I picked up a lovely bunch of tulips from a table next to the fridge. Their 'display until' day was 2 days ago but they're still fine - thank you to M&S for supporting British flower growers and for supporting the fridge!
