Beauty is all around us.

Crocuses from the garden in a window box.

The Feast Day of Seven Servites. 1233.
These beautiful delicate pale purple and white crocuses have survived and flowered after many weeks of various harsh weathers, including snow, winds and rain and mostly cold weather.
It is warmer today, overcast and raining now. 12c but feels like 9c. This is warmer than for such a long time. Thank God.
The cats are sleeping peacefully in two different places. Paul is repairing his guitar in his Music room.
Counting the blessings. The test is not to expect wonderful perfect weather to be the reason for being happy, or misery would dominate every day, after months of not amazing weather. The water butt water smells of eggs which is not something I was expecting. Paul said to let some water out, with the tap on the water barrel, so fresh rain water can replace the old rainwater. Has anyone else had that happen to water in their garden water butt? I am in my first year with a garden and there is so much to learn. Reading gardening magazines and Gardener's World on BBC 2 on Friday evening is helpful, but many gardening learning experiences need the local help of friends who have practical experience.
I have walked 3939 steps today and hope to achieve 6000 by evening.
I hope all is going well for my blip friends and thank you for visiting my site today.
Steps : 6010.
