New Raincoat . Previous one bought in 1979

I took a Photo of my new Raincoat in the mirror inside my Lift since there was no one available to take the photo.

My previous Raincoat which was bought in 1979 was great as no rain ever went through it to my clothes.

A few weeks ago as a result of the weather changing for the worse, the Rain was unusually heavy.  My Coat and Trousers were completely soaked.
I don't know if it was the exceptional weather or whether my Raincoat of nearly 50 years finally lost its remarkable waterproofing.

I do prefer the pattern and colour of this Raincoat.
