Winning in the Rain

Super League is back and after a morning at work it was home to grab some lunch get changed and ready to travel up to Castleford .
Wigan was starting the defence of the title they won last year away at Castleford . A very old ground past its best now with an open terrace behind the sticks where the away fans are positioned to stand and watch the game.
Normally the open end is fine but not on a night like tonight with the rain starting to fall very heavy at times just after we had entered the ground.. By half time we was saturated but a fine performance from Wigan gave us plenty to sing and chant and celebrate to take our mind of the damp feeling . Wigan ended up winning  32 - 4  so well worth the  trip and getting wet and cold. My blip is showing the players coming out on to the pitch at the start of the game and the falling rain .

Back home now and in my onesie now getting warm and enjoying aa few celebration beers. We are also watching some more rugby league Catalan V Warrington which was been played at the same time as ours and we have recorded it and avoided the result
