Ellesmere Port Parkrun
SATURDAY
I left home in bright sunshine and drove 27 miles over the border to Ellesmere Port in England for this morning's Parkrun.
Its was a two-lap course. Seventy percent of the course involved running across fields which were ankle-deep in mud. As a consequence timings were slow. I finished in 24th place with a time of 00:33:45. Once home, I had to power wash my running shoes and socks to remove the mud (see extra).
This afternoon I fitted a flush bolt to one of the double doors to the living room. It took me hours!
