Sluggish
I don't particularly like taking pictures of anything at the moment. All the effort of unzipping the camera bag and choosing a lens and switching the camera on and then finding the cable and downloading the result to the computer then looking through blurry efforts to find something that can be worked with or even just rescued. Then there has to be the post-processing bit. Actually, I like this part. Photos are just pixel fodder for massaging in photoshop, that's the creative and exciting bit for me.
There are trees outside the office. These are the only things to photograph from the path that surrounds the office. If I went to the pond I would have to go down the steps, through the car-park, through the gap in the hedge and another twenty feet to the water's edge. For someone who can't be arsed to unzip the camera bag, this monumental journey is impossible in my torpid state. Soon I'm going to need to go to the loo. Zippers will be involved....I can't be bothered...
..so anyway, the picture is a tree, and a total bastard to extract from its original background. Hair is like that too. I reckon you could spend a lifetime trying to perfect extracting clean selections. I need to stop just working on cars, umbrellas and bald people. Trees is probably good practice. If anyone has any tips for these tricky selections working in PS Elements, I would be grateful. Meanwhile, got to keep experimenting.
Tomorrow it'll possibly be the inside of the office door - I'm sure opening it to go outside will be far too much effort.
