Fifty Shades of Green

This is a different view of our local river but just outside of the town. It is amazing how just half a mile from the town it has narrowed and the banks have encroached so far in, but then no one has come and cut it back and only the odd fisherman forays this far down but you can just see the edge of civilisation poking through.

I think on a painters palete of green there must be every shade shown here and whilst I could have tinkered with it in Picasa (still scared of Photoshop) I just left it as is.

Oh and my favourite colour is blue not green but not much of that on show here at the moment.
