Saturday: View From You Know Where

Today was a bit of an unsatisfactory day. Not for any particular reason - just one of those days where I wasn’t sure how we’d spent it (other than watching a fair bit of ‘One Day’ this afternoon on Netflix).  We’ve had slow days at home before but this one felt particularly slow and unproductive.  Still, every day is a fresh start so tomorrow (or today, as I now type) will be better.

We did venture out this evening to you know where - this was the view from the back balcony.  

We had a vague plan to chat to our friends, T&K, in Canada this evening before we went out but it didn’t materialize.  ‘Well, it is the weekend’ K said ‘and we’re all busy’ Slight pause ‘Well, they are because they’re somewhere where you can actually do stuff at the weekend’. How I laughed!!
