Knowsley

We had a lovely meal last night, entertained by a fabulous singer who got even better as we drank more red wine.

This morning after breakfast, Sarah opened her presents (see extras for our card), then we had a quick trip to Liverpool for some book shopping. Then onto Knowsley, where John braved the baboons (reluctantly) - fortunately the car survived, with just a few teeth marks and muddy footprints. We thought the lions were a no-show until five appeared out of nowhere, including this handsome chap. That box was firmly ticked.

We’re now headed back home for fish and chips, birthday cake and Moana. I guess you’re only 26 once…..
