BINGLEY —On Saturday last the foundation stone of a new mechanics' institute was laid at Bingley. The building, the style of which will be Gothic, will be erected from the designs of Mr. A. Waterhouse, architect, of Manchester, and will consist of a school room on the basement, reading- room and class-rooms on the ground floor, and a large and lofty lecture, and music hall over the upper portion of the building.
