A Good Day Out

The sun came out for a big regional orienteering event today on Helsington Barrows.  Thank goodness after weeks of drizzly rain, we were able to tell the visiting clubs that the sun always shines in the Lake District.  I walked round carefully following doctors order not to run - (Not that I was going to run anyway.)  Came half way down the results for my category which I was very  happy with although I have just gone up an age class so I was one of the youngest.
We rewarded ourselves with a splendid lunch in the Black Labrador pub - hence the blip because I forgot to take photos at the orienteering.
